We fell in love with the beauty of Wharerata, located within the Massey University Campus in Palmerston North. Just an hour and a half drive from Wellington, our ceremony, nibbles and photos will be held outside on the lawn (weather permitting) before heading into the dining room for dinner, speeches and dancing later in the evening.

Yes, our location has safe and adequate parking right on site. Your vehicle can also be left here overnight if required to ensure safety in getting to your accommodation via taxi/uber after drinking if necessary.

Our ceremony will begin at 3.00pm. Please arrive from 2.30pm to enjoy the gardens and be seated.

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us and semi-formal (also known as dressy-casual) attire would suit the vibe of the day. Ladies may wish to rethink stiletto heels as our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the lawn.

All children are welcome to attend the ceremony and nibbles portion of our day, however only those specifically addressed on invitations can be accommodated for the reception from 5.00pm onwards. We hope you can enjoy an evening off to celebrate with us.

Celebratory bubbles will be served after the ceremony with nibbles. During dinner each guest will receive drinks tokens that can be exchanged for beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages. outside of this you are welcome to purchase drinks from the bar. Please drink responsibly and ensure a safe way home.

We have no gift expectations and the greatest gift of all is your presence on the day! Should you wish to contribute to our holiday fund we would be thankful for the ability to take a break together as a family at a later date.
